Why it's my favorite
Well, I read this book when it first came out and I instantly loved it. It is a little harsh in the fact that there is descriptions on how people die, but that only makes it more interesting. I love survival books, and think that this is my favorite.

Wanderer probes Melanie's thoughts, hoping to discover the whereabouts of the remaining human resistance. Instead, Melanie fills Wanderer's mind with visions of the man Melanie loves—Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer begins to yearn for a man she has been tasked with exposing. When outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off on a dangerous and uncertain search for the man they both love.
Why it's my favorite
When this book was published, it was mine. I knew Stephenie was going to put another book out, so I bought it. And soon fell in love once again. I have this weird thing, it' slike a phisical attraction to books. It's kind of weird, but oh well. This one had me like a magnet, with the underlying love theme, and I noticed some similarities to Twilight, but not prominent.

Why it's one of my favorites
This book is so amazing, I read it in 2004 and it actually wasn't that good the first couple of chapters. I put it down, and found it a month later. I picked it back up and kept reading. It gets a lot better as you keep going! I loved the two sequels, and I bawled at the end. It's a perfect blend.
